Who we are

Restore501 is a service of RockySoftware Inc., an Ontario, Canada corporation at 213 Mckean Dr, Stouffville, ON L4A 5E2, Canada. “We” and “us” mean RockySoftware Inc.; “you” means the person using the service and the organization they act for.

What the service is

We prepare a Form 1023-EZ application packet for the streamlined reinstatement process in IRS Rev. Proc. 2014-11, mapped to the Pay.gov screens. Your packet is ready in 1–2 business days after we have your payment, details and documents.

We prepare paperwork only. Restore501 is not a law firm. We are not attorneys, CPAs, or enrolled agents. Your organization’s officer reviews, signs, and submits the application on Pay.gov — we do not file for you and do not represent you before the IRS. The IRS alone decides whether to reinstate your organization.

Fees

• $350 Restore501 service fee for packet preparation, paid to us at checkout through Stripe.
• $275 IRS filing fee, paid by your organization directly to the IRS on Pay.gov when your officer submits. It never passes through us.

Refund policy

• Not eligible? If we find during intake that your organization isn’t eligible for the streamlined path, we refund the full $350 service fee.
• Not reinstated? If the IRS doesn’t reinstate your organization after you follow our packet, we refund the full $350 service fee.
• IRS fee: the $275 IRS filing fee is paid directly to the IRS and is subject to IRS policy. We can’t refund it.

To ask for a refund, email hello@restore501.com. For legal review: how refunds are requested and paid, any time limit for asking, and what happens if you cancel before your packet is delivered.

Your part

The packet is only as accurate as the information and documents you give us, so please make them complete and correct. Your officer should review the packet before signing, and your organization must submit it on Pay.gov before its 15-month window closes. For legal review: confirm responsibility for the accuracy of information supplied and for meeting the IRS deadline.

Your information

How we collect, use and protect your information and documents is described in our Privacy Policy. In short: your documents are used only to prepare your reinstatement packet, and we never share, sell, or reuse them for any other purpose.

Limits and governing law

For legal review: limitation of liability, governing law and jurisdiction, and how disputes are handled. Nothing has been decided here yet.

Changes

If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
